Who We Work With
Donors and Institutions
We work with donor governments, UN agencies and multilateral institutions, philanthropic foundations, and international NGOs who are serious about turning localisation commitments into delivery. For this group, we offer what's often missing between commitment and practice: strategy that connects to national plans, finance models suited to direct and flexible funding, and the monitoring frameworks that let progress be demonstrated, not just claimed. Working with ImpactRoot means having a partner who has sat inside donor decision making, not one advising from outside it.
Local and National Organisations
We work directly with national NGOs, community based organisations, and national civil society networks carrying out the work on the ground. For this group, the offer is capacity that translates into funding readiness: governance systems, financial controls, and technical strengthening built specifically to give donors the confidence to extend direct, flexible support. This is not generic capacity building. It is capacity built with the explicit goal of closing the trust gap that keeps funding indirect.
Networks and Peer Forums
We work with sector coordination platforms, regional networks, and the forums where donors, national organisations, and other stakeholders already meet, or should be meeting. For this group, we offer a convening partner who brings people together around an agenda they set, not one imposed on them, and who is building the infrastructure, from an annual multi-stakeholder forum to a global peer exchange platform, to make those connections easier to sustain.
Whether you're a donor rethinking how funding reaches local actors, a national organisation building toward greater direct funding and leadership, or a network looking for a partner in convening the right people, we'd like to hear from you.
